Navigation Courses

The great outdoors can be explored freely and safely if you know where you are, where you are going and how to get there. For walking, mountain biking or orienteering the National Navigation Award Scheme provides a clear system of route finding based on well tried and trusted techniques. With time and practice it can be second nature for you to find your way in the countryside with map and compass. Switchback Mountain Adventure Ltd is now an accedited provider of the NNAS schemes and we are currently running courses for the Bronze and Silver level awards.
