
NNAS - Silver Award
The aim of the NNAS Silver award is to be able to plan and follow walks in the countryside away form paths and tracks. The maximum staff to student ratio is 1:6 with the course lasting 12 hours over two days. Assessment will be over a 5 to 8 km route in the afternoon of the second day. The topics include route planning, ground shapes, navigation simplification by use of attack points, features by paths, relocation, compass work and dictance judgement. The courses can be organised outside of the dates below.
The fee for this 2 day course is £95 per person
